Silver gelatin paper negatives taken with a homemade pinhole camera, processed in the darkroom, and manipulated with Adobe Photoshop.

These three photos were taken with a pinhole camera made from carboard, aluminum foil, paper, and lots of tape and paint. The first image is of someone underneath a climbing dome. The person, as they were moving around a lot to represent a little kid, can only be seen as a blur. This creates a kind of mysteriousness that I tried to amplify by using different effects in photoshop. I also experimented with a lot of color contrasts on this image. The second image shows another mysterious figure in front of wall that developed very uniquely on the silver gelatin paper. I also used several effects such as filters, gradients, and burns to enhance the photo and make it pleasing to look at. Finally, the last photo, which is my favorite, shows a similar figure to the second image, but the man is turned to the side like he is staring at something. Both the man and object he stares at have a filter on them that, along with the sepia color filter, makes the image stand out.
